Batteries Plus of Carmel, IN, 46032

I went into the Batteries Plus on Rangeline Rd in Carmel, which is the one I go to often, with all three of my vehicle key fobs and asked the man working that day 05/19/2026 @ 9:39am to change the battery because my vehicle was warning me that the batteries were low. I had the "Liferedeem" battery for two of them but the third I did not. The guy took the fobs to the back and said he changed them and I paid for the third fob to have the "Liferedeem." However, I got back into my vehicle and still had the warning and assumed that I just needed to reset the message, which I did. But every time I got into the car with any of the key fobs the "battery is low" message kept popping up. After over a week of this I returned back to the store after speaking of the phone with an employee named Sam, who was very pleasant and he advised I return and they check out the fobs. When I arrived at the store I was pleasantly greeted by both workers (unlike the day of 5/19/2026) and a young man named Quintin took all three fobs to the back and came back and told me they were completely dead and asked if I was sure they were replaced. I showed him the receipt, time and date and he explained that all the batteries were dead. I do not know what the employee did on 05/19/2026, I assume he was new and overwhelmed but that was a mistake that could have eventually left me and my family stranded. I give five stars because I went back on the right day and time and it was corrected and for that I am very appreciative. Your experience depends on who's working that day, but Quintin and the crew get my five stars! Thank you
